Reading IV:The Architecture of Ancient Egypt

Egypts has some differences but they have still connection with Mesopotamian communities. For instance in Mesopotamia, settlement life start with agriculture and husbandry. This situation is also appropriate for Egypt which surrounding of Nile River. They use Nile as both trade and protect other little settlements. And Egypt has two sides which are UPPER EGYPT and LOWER EGYPT. While lower Egypt involves whole of the delta and end in Memphis, Upper Egypt is remaining area till aswana.  We can see state logic in there and their capital is different. ( Upper Egypts capital is Nekhen and Lower Egypts capital is Pe) Important architecture life of Egypt starts with Kral Menes' conquer plan about North. This invasion has deep effect on community and it affect policy and architecture directly. Actually they have knowledge about architectural materials in this era and they use this informations in important buildings.
In early dynastic era, inscriptions are kind of light for building temples and other buildings.Sappara and Giza are good examples for that. Also they did not just use this informations; they also improve ideas about architecture and materials. For that reason some of their structure are still valid in todays world.
Every power use its effects one way or another. And time after time Kings start to lost their power. Chaos problem occured in Egypt and importance of God and Goddesess increased in this time. This situation influence type of the building directly. According to their religion nobles dead bodies start to seperate different temples. And we can easilly say that monumental temple improves with this situation. They also reach alien force in this era (1600-1300 BC)
There is no compare between Upper and Lower Egypts material which they used for building and both of them settle around the Nile. And Nile is different than Tigris and Euphrates. The conditions of Nile helps Egyptian people in geometrical way. Thanks to Nile they learn how they overcome geometrical problems and they use geometry in their buildings effectively.(This situation is appropriate or delta people)
We only just compare Sumerian Ur and Sostris II in complicated layout way. For instance there were some main streets between north and south in El Kahun but Sostris II did not have this condition in itself. So it helps us to see the difference between Mesopotamia and Egypt.

06 assignment Orthographic Projection

Here is another reason for cancer : Drawing tape dispenser using orthographic projection. I hear that you asking whether is that a prank or not. If you are architecure student, you should get used to this kind of unbelieveable assignment and of course there is no way for prank in architecture studio. Whatever, in this drawing, real proportion was used by me and as you know, sometimes something happened without your control. There are some notes in my drawing which reveals my mistakes and after critics i learn how can I draw with ortographic style. In addition, if you want to learn what ortographic projection means, here comes : orthographic projection (n)   projection of a single view of an object (as a view of the front) onto a drawing surface in which the lines of projection are perpendicular to the drawing surface  And here is my model (tape dispenser) and my drawing :
