ARCHITECTONIC IDEAS

First thing is doing something understanding its quality. And this is what we do. Here is our site and some informations about our site.

Till this step, we just analyse our sites surroundings. But from now on some design things will begin. First thing is deciding strategy and tactics. There will be one more strategies and tactics but they should be consistent in itself. I want to talk about BSA Architecture's ideas briefly. As you know our site is in Kolej which is very close centers of Ankara (like Kızılay, Kurtuluş and Sıhhiye). Also even its location, general usage of building is relate with living. There are lots of old residents and they do not want to move from here. Also some of residents just live in here for distance from work. (Traffic conditions becoming serious issue time after time in Ankara) With these information our strategies create itself. These two certain types of residents and location of area gives us lots of important ideas. One of them is keeping old residents in their territory. To supply these idea their needs should be cared which include neighborhood. Also location gives it to an enormo

To better understand our working sites each group work some different quality of urban. Our topic is physical structure. In this assignment main labor is related with understanding pattern of the city. City blocks, plots, roads, rivers and these kind of physical things are important sources for understanding. Before sharing the poster I want to clarify details about physical structure briefly: It is possible to say that conditions of roads is not changed till 1950's from Kızılay to Kolej. Which means conditions of city blocks and parcels keep their own quality. Even these city blocks still remain themselves proportion of housing has some transformations. Almost every new structure is much more bigger than the old ones. This situation create some loses about old tissue of Ankara unfortunately. There were incesu river in 1950's and it creates kind of border. Growth of the city ended in incesu river and east side of area is not planned in the manner of city blocks and plots

This semestr our focus is much more related with urban design. There will some new posts about project but it is important to realize that ARCH301 and ARCH381 lessons move in the same way with focusing different quality of area in different scales. Our working area is quite close to my university (TED). Its in kolej and there is of course reasons why we work here. Regeneration is important issue for architecture and there are lots of wrong tryings about it especially in Türkiye. Our site has lots of old building which may regenerate next years and each group create their own scenario about regeneration for the site. Regeneration is not only importance for this area. Location of area really shine like a diamond. It is very close to Ankaray, Kurtuluş Parkı, TED University,Kızılay and etc. With regarding these importance, we regenerate this area. Hi everyone. This is the post which is the first one after the second year semestr. In Architectural manner there were no lots of new thing occured except internship. It will also present with detail in here. Beginning of this semestr, each person decide their partners to create architectural firm. Whole process of project maintain with this group and everyone should select their partners wisely in this manner. This Firm is not only valid for ARCH301 course but also ARCH381 (Urban). Let me introduce my firm and team members. We use first letters of our surname as a firm name which is BSA (Burak-Şener-Ata). Meryem Ebru Burak and Beyza Şener are my teammates and I hope we will manage the whole of the semestr without any major problem. And here is my firms logo
