Case Study Works For Program of Emsalsiz Project

After First Pre-jury, each of us should prepare our own program for our site. For this, first important thing is related with what happening around the site and in the light of these informations what will be constructed in this area. With my group member, we decided to product something in the site and we did not decide what product in there. After deciding some certain details, we also look for some cases which can we benefit from. Each structure has its own story. And this is Khan Shatyr's one. For Arch372 lesson we choose a structure and examine its structural details. We find Khan Shatyr as interesting and made research about it. Tension of roof, its durability, materials, technique of construction is quite different from other ones. Library of Alexandria accept as beginning of museum history. Aim of the library is quite simple at that point: try to reach whole written sources and collect them into one place. Approach to library is not only relate with collecting something. Library also use for discover something. Thats why this library surround with arbitarium. Other discoveries, especially math and geography, in library have crucial role for Alexandria city. All of these factors attract philosophers, mathematicians and who interest with art, science and, literature. Participation of important people gain importance to the city and it is possible to say that this situation create cultural war between enemies.
