ARCHITECTONIC IDEAS

In Arch112 midterm, some groups were created randomly by our instructors and every five person responsible for both drawing and model of choosen Structures. Our Structure is Gerrit Rietveld's Schroeder House. This house is in Holland and its location has some traditional buildings. When we look at this building, this is much more innovative structure than others even it was built in 1924. Also this building is one of the best examples of De-Stijl architecture. While this building use actively since 1985, after Mrs.Schroeders death, it was started to use as a museum. Also in 2 December 2000, it became the member of UNESCO list of  Herritage sites.  Now my turn. My Drawings include 2 Plan, 2 Section and Two elevation. Also when i create my model I always care abstract idea and create my model in the light of abstraction. Here is my drawings and different views of my model

Lets start with beginning. Firstly, we should give enough information about Alice in Wonderland and we should analyse at least 3 different scenes. This analyses should related with spatial relationship and spatial qualities. Meaning of space is important here. Because this space defining is more abstractive than normal meaning. And after we analyse these spatial qualities, we need to sketch these analyses as a diagram. And after this diagram we need to create model which involves diagram' informations. End of this, my model looks like this.

I'm here with my new assignment today. It should contain abstraction , light, shade&shadow and hierachy in itself. Lets talk about what kind of process this assignment has. Firstly, we went to the Kurtuluş Parkı and our guides wanted to take some picture in specific place by us. We should take 5 photographs (sky,ground,front,left and right) in these specific places. After that we should print out these photographs and we need sketch these photograph with regarding abstraction.  Our workspace is front picture and the crucial sketch is this picture: And after some abstraction work, this picture's view is really changed as you can see bottom of this text : And after this abstraction, with using this drawings,I started modeling part. My first modeling has some negative qualities like having different shape which is against assignment and finally I have out of requirement grade.
