Conceptual Model

As BSA, we want to use backyard gardens in the most efficient manner. To do this, We decided to break parcel lines inside of the area while we keep it outside of it. How we break it is important here. All specific backyard areas start to define one single green areas which both member of the sites and surroundings will benefit from it. And here is concept of this idea:

Black ropes define valid parcel lines. (We merge some of them where we need it but generally parcel lines are keep their own quality) Gray ropes define our green spaces but as i said before this is much more conceptual. According to critics, these green areas will start to create different relations between houses in parcel lines.

Each structure has its own story. And this is Khan Shatyr's one. For Arch372 lesson we choose a structure and examine its structural details. We find Khan Shatyr as interesting and made research about it. Tension of roof, its durability, materials, technique of construction is quite different from other ones. Library of Alexandria accept as beginning of museum history. Aim of the library is quite simple at that point: try to reach whole written sources and collect them into one place. Approach to library is not only relate with collecting something. Library also use for discover something. Thats why this library surround with arbitarium. Other discoveries, especially math and geography, in library have crucial role for Alexandria city. All of these factors attract philosophers, mathematicians and who interest with art, science and, literature. Participation of important people gain importance to the city and it is possible to say that this situation create cultural war between enemies. Unfortunately, most collections of Alexandria burns in fire and few things transfer to next generations. Collecting something has reach its value with Crusade in Europe.
