PHYSICAL STRUCTURE OF THE SITE

To better understand our working sites each group work some different quality of urban. Our topic is physical structure. In this assignment main labor is related with understanding pattern of the city. City blocks, plots, roads, rivers and these kind of physical things are important sources for understanding. Before sharing the poster I want to clarify details about physical structure briefly:

  • It is possible to say that conditions of roads is not changed till 1950's from Kızılay to Kolej. Which means conditions of city blocks and parcels keep their own quality.
  • Even these city blocks still remain themselves proportion of housing has some transformations. Almost every new structure is much more bigger than the old ones. This situation create some loses about old tissue of Ankara unfortunately.
  • There were incesu river in 1950's and it creates kind of border. Growth of the city ended in incesu river and east side of area is not planned in the manner of city blocks and plots in 1950's.
  • While Kızılay has strong relation with commercial activities, Kolej appeals to housing idea.
  • There are some problems for continuation of roads. Shortcut idea brings loses of continuity with itself.

OLD STONE AGE ARCHITECTURE Both structures technology and rituel usage of architecture increase rapidly. Neanderthals and cro-magnons start to create some materials in these times.To protect themselves from air conditions, they use fur outside of the structures. Also they negotiate with nature in religion principles. This situation affect hunters directly. Death is a mysterious thing for them and architecture change in the shape of death and religion. Caves become temples for example. And hunters start to use art as a intermediate. Art is a huge significance in there. 06 assignment Orthographic Projection

Here is another reason for cancer : Drawing tape dispenser using orthographic projection. I hear that you asking whether is that a prank or not. If you are architecure student, you should get used to this kind of unbelieveable assignment and of course there is no way for prank in architecture studio. Whatever, in this drawing, real proportion was used by me and as you know, sometimes something happened without your control. There are some notes in my drawing which reveals my mistakes and after critics i learn how can I draw with ortographic style. In addition, if you want to learn what ortographic projection means, here comes : orthographic projection (n)   projection of a single view of an object (as a view of the front) onto a drawing surface in which the lines of projection are perpendicular to the drawing surface  And here is my model (tape dispenser) and my drawing :
