Main informations about semestr

This semestr our focus is much more related with urban design. There will some new posts about project but it is important to realize that ARCH301 and ARCH381 lessons move in the same way with focusing different quality of area in different scales.
Our working area is quite close to my university (TED). Its in kolej and there is of course reasons why we work here. Regeneration is important issue for architecture and there are lots of wrong tryings about it especially in Türkiye. Our site has lots of old building which may regenerate next years and each group create their own scenario about regeneration for the site. Regeneration is not only importance for this area. Location of area really shine like a diamond. It is very close to Ankaray, Kurtuluş Parkı, TED University,Kızılay and etc. With regarding these importance, we regenerate this area. STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS: KHAN SHATYR

Each structure has its own story. And this is Khan Shatyr's one. For Arch372 lesson we choose a structure and examine its structural details. We find Khan Shatyr as interesting and made research about it. Tension of roof, its durability, materials, technique of construction is quite different from other ones. THE CAVE AND THE SKY: STONE AGE EUROPE When architecture was started is debatable thing. But primitive humans temples can be accept as first architecture buildings. Also plan of the world is another quality in there: caves, rivers, lakes and other things can regarded as architecture. So, we have architecture for so long. OLD STONE AGE ARCHITECTURE Both structures technology and rituel usage of architecture increase rapidly. Neanderthals and cro-magnons start to create some materials in these times.To protect themselves from air conditions, they use fur outside of the structures. Also they negotiate with nature in religion principles. This situation affect hunters directly. Death is a mysterious thing for them and architecture change in the shape of death and religion. Caves become temples for example. And hunters start to use art as a intermediate. Art is a huge significance in there. 06 assignment Orthographic Projection

Here is another reason for cancer : Drawing tape dispenser using orthographic projection. I hear that you asking whether is that a prank or not. If you are architecure student, you should get used to this kind of unbelieveable assignment and of course there is no way for prank in architecture studio. Whatever, in this drawing, real proportion was used by me and as you know, sometimes something happened without your control. There are some notes in my drawing which reveals my mistakes and after critics i learn how can I draw with ortographic style.
