ARCHITECTONIC IDEAS

Here is the harvest time of the season! After unbelievable submission labor, finally I submit my house. In brief, I try to solve my main problem which came from my Prejury ( scale problem). To solve this issue, tefriş (furniture) turn into my guideline. Also I omit some unnecessary part of the house. There is no column or something structural thing in prejury and after that they also started to talk. Place of the column also affect some placement about house. Also; I added two stairs in my house. One of them is in center and provide circulation of the house. It is in the middle and turn into a tree which I have in my terrain.( In prejury this is one of the advice for me. I really think about  creating connection with plantations.) Other stairs are may be seem too close and unneccessary in house but it also provide connection between studio and gallery. In this manner, guests move away from main circulation system of house and thus privacy provided. As I said before plantations...

This semestr, first time I use render option for my house. Maybe they are not enough to express something but these are just beginning. Here is my renders:

Prejury is good chance to see mistake in project. In prejury, there should be product but it should not be finished. It is kind of queen critic before jury. Let me talk about my project and my mistakes about prejury : I have triangular terrain in batıkent and its sizes are pretty big when it compared with surround terrains. First thing what I try to do is about shaping my house around my terrain. So I started to work on terrain-house relation. Creating something in triangular manner can not be useful. First thing what I learnt it is this. With this obstacle I decided to shape my house around road and plantation conditions. Scale issue became a huge problem for me. My terrain gave a false impression to me and unfortunately there is huge rooms occured because of this reason. Till this day I avoid working with tefriş(furniture). Actually even if I worked with it, maybe I did not encounter with this situation. Scale issue is my real problem in here. Almost all of my jury time general ...

Before presenting my final work, I also want to show my investigations about my terrain which is in Batıkent. Also in this post there is also another informations like infographic. Aldo Rossi : The Architecture of the city

Today, I have new things about my project which is infographic. Firstly, what is infographic? Its a kind of communication way to expressing some ideas through  some diagrams and other graphics. So, what did I present in my infographic poster? I started to work in some specific site which is in Batıkent. And end of the semestr I should built a specific building in this site. The reason why this building is specific is totally related with scenario. I should create a scenario in here and in the light of this scenario my structure should be shaped. Let me clarify some details of my scenario. I have one couple and they have two children in my house. Also there are one more old people added in my scenario who has some health issues. And all of these people should has connection with each other according to my scenario.
